This improved strain has been developed to be resistant to bacterial leaf blight and is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions such as heavy rain, hailstorms, and strong winds, preventing the crop from lodging (flattening). Additionally, it offers a higher yield and matures faster compared to other basmati varieties, making it a more efficient choice for farmers.
